SUBJECT: Partial Parking Lot and Road Closure

Please be aware of upcoming construction and road maintenance that may affect your commute.
Due to the construction of a parking structure for East Campus
Housing, a majority of the ARC parking lot will close on August 18, 2008. Alternate parking for the ARC will be available in the California Temp (CT) lot.
The Library Service Road will be partially closed August 18 - 22. Flag-persons will help facilitate traffic flow.

8/7/2008: BIKE PATH UPDATE
The main bike path leading from Arroyo Drive/Vista del Campo Road to the core of the UCI Main Campus will not be available during the construction of Phase III. There are two alternate bike path routes residents may use. Please CLICK HERE to view the map.
- Northern Route: Enter at AV Parking Lot entrance near Vista del Campo Norte and go through the Arroyo Vista Community towards the ARC. This path will meet the end of original bike path near AV House #1064 and1066 and the ARC Parking Lot.
- Southern Route: Cut through the ARC Fields. Enter the route from Arroyo Drive (near Bldg. 615 and 620) and cut through the ARC Fields and follow the trail around the back of the Anteater Recreation Center to California Avenue.
*** Please Note: the Southern Route is only available when the ARC Sports Fields are open!
* Weekdays from 7:00am to 8:00pm
* Weekends from 9:00am to 7:00pm

8/1/2008: The Phase III Project begins! Fences have been placed around two of the three construction sites. Entrance into the construction sites are limited to construction workers only!
